Well, you dirty fuckers at the boofy, you'll be glad to hear we played our outstanding fixture at the New Inn tonight and we LOST 8-4.
Think if I was a Uni player I'd be a bit pissed off.
Seems like Legends lay down a wee bit to help their friends at the Inn command 3rd spot
Am getin fukn sick of teams trying so hard against us.
If this keeps up, I'll be considering taking my team to play in the Fraserburgh league.

Seriously though, well done to the New Inn who rode their luck as well as having 3 excellent finishes and a fair run on the breaks and the rolls.
The stand out for me though was when Legends defaulted the black to give the Inn the match, there was complete silence.
So thanks to the New Inn for that and not rubbing our faces in it(good sports)

To beat the champs is one thing, to do it while simultaneously winning the New Inn quiz night is quite another. Excellent performance from the team, especially Brian, who knew that Ursula Andress's Bond character was Honey Rider. Game with Leggs was played in good spirits as usual, which is why we could afford to give away the Smirnoff we won. Last night may have given the advantage to the Buffet, but they might find it's hard up north in a few weeks time. Pensioners only lie down when they're tired, or after a minor stroke.

Fortunately,we have a fully trained paramedic in our team so if it's any of the New Inn team(apart from Scott,of course)we should be fine!

Come on Fin, its not like I play the Cunniger 10 times a week is it! I gave up ever expecting an ace years ago. Actually I do well to hit a green from 150 yds. You could watch Tiger Woods hit 1000 balls all perfect and never hole 1. Its all luck - so thats me fecked! Besides the greens at Crail are on a par with the New Inn pool table so whats the chance of holing out with a 8 iron? Its stricly putt for dough these days.

Aye, this is true. That must have been 15 yrs ago Fin. I think he did hole 1 after hitting a mountain of balls. Pin was down the slope at 14 and probably only hitting a wedge - so an easy hole in 1 if you get such a thing!

I've never felt right hitting extra balls at par 3s, I've always wondered if it would count if you holed one!
