Just making sure, but in the stuff we were given at the start of the season it says that the 27th is a league match and the 5-man cup is to be played on the 3rd of February - have these been switched?

Some of the lads in our team think its a league game on the 27th and we have a bye due to the 11 teams as it says on the chart in the pub. I have been reading on here it is the 5 man if so our A team thinks they have a league game in the 2nd division at home next week. So we may end up with 4 teams in the pub if it is the cup next week and the some teams think it is a league game and dont look at the site.
When is the 8 man 3rd round getting drawn and when is it meant to be?

Thats what i would think but the cup fixtures are only up on here we dont get them in the pub. I dont think many teams in the 2nd division bother about the site because its only 1st division scores that get posted on time.

Legends cant run this league!!

No man,full strength and legends aint trying to run F all but somebody needs to get a grip coz am the captain and nobodys told me about any changes so there canny be any. Legends is opening and expecting a pool match next week coz it says so on the official sheet. how does pointing that out translate as wanting to run the league Evan

To be fair it's always been the case that New Inn's top 5 are better than Bufr fet's. They've got a weaker 6-8 and that's the only reason they're not closer to the top 2.

Good game 2nite at the Crusoe, just a wee bit 2 strong in the end. Gordie Glen is a definate miss for the Buffet A team, class player. As Joe said good to have Reekie back, a class act.

Was expecting the worst when 0-2 down, maybe there was some complacency at that stage, and I was expecting the cauldron atmosphere. Don't think we even had to move into second gear in all honesty.

Teams have their off-nights though I guess (we've had more than our fair share...), and I'm sure a season-defining league encounter at the Old Folks Home will be of more interest for the Buffet come April!

Dont know about the New Inn always having a stronger 5 than Buffet ?? who were missing 2 guys who would have saun(d)ered straight into team. I for one am chuffed to bits the New Inn won. Reckon it makes our defence of title a whole lot easier. Bring on the Blacks and Nico! After losing at the Uni' in the league LEGENDS were like an angry wounded animal tonight with only one possible outcome. In fact 8-2 doesnt tell the story!!! Apart from young Dish's very unfortunate default on the black they really didny merit a frame. Sorry pupils but you were stuffed. Good bunch of guys and a very good team but you were stuffed. Talking to myself here. The venues have been decided and are as under News... Crusoe and New Inn will both be at home.

Good win for the Leggs to get over our last visit to the uni. We were pretty steady - but not spectacular. Fair to say it wasnt the inspired uni performance that we encountered the last time round, but the manner of the win will boost the Leggs. Not an easy place to go, probably the best away venue in the league!! Cheap pints eh!

Thats true, but Herdy kicked my ass and I never spoke to him all night!!

I think they tried to get O'Sullivan and Hendry but couldnt quite afford the fee so me and Herdy stepped in and settled to share a ton, 20 pints and a free taxi home!!
